We restore clock cases as well as movements. We employ the skills of a horologist to repair and service the clock movement whilst Sunnyside Antiques repairs and polishes the clock case. Here we have a beautiful long case clock albeit in a somewhat ropy condition. This clock required significant restoration to structural timber and veneer repairs. This piece also required the missing brasses. If an item of antique furniture has metal fixtures missing we may have it in stock from our large selection of salvaged, locks, keys, escutcheons, hinges, handles etc. If we don’t, we can make copies from an originals all aged to fit perfectly whilst keeping the original style.
