Objets De Vertu Chests - Dressers - Cabinets
A beautiful rare miniature apprentice chest of drawers in solid mahogany. This is a nice example of a Scottish chest. Made as an apprentice piece and used in the later as a salesman sample. This is an exact miniature of the original Ogee chest. The long graduated drawers with veneered fronts, cock beading, turned handles and original escutcheons are all beautifully dovetailed. This piece also separates like full sized chest and retains its original polish with good colour and patina.
Would make a fantastic jewellery cabinet.
