An exceptional Scottish George III mahogany cross banded sofa table in the manner of William Trotter, Edinburgh. Of good colour and patina with ebonised and boxwood stringing, supported on brass box castors.

William Trotter was one of Scotland’s finest and certainly one of Edinburgh’s greatest cabinet makers, whose distinctive furniture is recognisable by its style and excellent quality.
